AC SCHNITZER lists silencers and tailpipe trims separately, allowing sound and appearance upgrades to be selected independently. Its wider programme includes RS coilovers, lowering kits, and forged or flow-formed wheels. Carbon-fibre and PUR/ASA aerodynamic components complete the range for a coordinated styling package.

History and development. AC Schnitzer was established in Aachen in 1987 and developed BMW and MINI refinement programmes within the KOHL Group for decades. In March 2026, KOHL announced plans to end the division’s operations at year-end, citing rising costs and lengthy approval procedures among the reasons.

The business today. A September 2026 announcement changed that outlook: transfer of the brand to Dutch AM Group was agreed for 1 November 2026. As of 22 October 2026, this is an announced future transition, not a completed transaction. AM Group plans to preserve the brand’s identity and invest in product development and international growth.
