Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium Exhaust for BMW M2 Competition F87N
Construction and materials
The Slip-On is made of titanium, using parts cast in Akrapovič's own plant. The design reduces back pressure and reduces weight by more than 45% compared to the standard system. The kit was developed for the BMW M2 Competition with OPF/GPF filter, but mechanically it also fits the version without this filter.
Carbon tips finish off the rear section. A carbon diffuser and mirror caps are available as additional visual elements, while the Evolution Link Pipe Set allows you to expand the exhaust itself.
Sound characteristics
The clearest sporty tone appears in the middle and upper rpm ranges. The system has been tuned to emphasize the character of the engine without the annoying hum.
A separate P-HF1177 Sound Kit allows for additional sound control. When upgraded with an Evolution Link Pipe, you don't need it, as the corresponding control kit is already included in the Evolution tube kit.
Parameters by manufacturer
- Power increase: 3,6 kW at 5100 rpm
- Torque increase: 6 Nm at 5150 rpm
- Weight: 11,05 kg; reduction of 10,2 kg.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
