Akrapovič BMW M2 G87 Slip-on Line Titanium
Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium Exhaust for BMW M2 G87
Construction and materials
The Slip-On section is made of high-grade titanium. There is one throttle on both sides of the silencer, and the damper housings and manifolds are manufactured in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The system also includes two acoustic deflectors and a specially developed control kit.
The tips combine a lightweight titanium construction with handcrafted carbon covers. A classic cylindrical shape and a more expressive octagonal form are available, following the solution introduced for the BMW M3/M4.
Sound characteristics
Valves, acoustic deflectors and a controller work together to shape the flow and sound. When driving calmly, the tone is smooth and full. When the engine runs harder, the exhaust transitions into a deep, sporty sound.
Thanks to the steering and deflectors, the change of character is also noticeable in the cabin, underlining the difference between everyday driving and dynamic acceleration.
Parameters by manufacturer
- Power increase: 3,9 kW at 2800 rpm
- Torque increase: 13,5 Nm at 2800 rpm
- Weight reduction: 7,3 kg (32,7%).
Tip selection and expansion
Tips are a mandatory separately selected component. Available kits are TP-CT/69, TP-CT/68 and TP-CT/73/CF. The exhaust can be expanded with a suitable connecting section, downpipes or a Sound Kit.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
