Akrapovič Slip-On Line Exhaust for BMW M3 F80, Made of Titanium
Construction and materials
The Slip-On is made of titanium, and some of the components are made in the Akrapovič foundry. The tubes have a larger diameter than in the stock exhaust, which reduces back pressure. The design was developed as a new arrangement of the rear exhaust section, with a focus on reducing weight and improving flow.
The TP-CT/26 carbon tips are handcrafted and feature sandblasted titanium internals. The round outlets have a larger diameter than the stock ones and have been stylistically matched to the optional carbon diffuser.
Sound characteristics
The sound has been tuned with a clear emphasis on the low frequencies. This gives the engine a deeper, sporty character, and the use of a titanium chip combines timbre change with weight reduction.
The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit allows you to control the sound settings. It allows you to extend the operation of the system with direct selection of its character by the driver.
Parameters by manufacturer
- Power increase: 5,4 kW at 4400 rpm
- Torque increase: 17,4 Nm at 2350 rpm

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
