Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium Exhaust for BMW M4 G82/G83
Construction and materials
The Slip-On is made of lightweight, high-quality titanium. The weight of the system is 35% lower than the serial one, and the pair of collectors is made in the Akrapovič foundry. The kit includes a specially developed Control Kit responsible for the operation of the system.
The tips combine a titanium interior with a carbon exterior cover. Octagonal and classic cylindrical forms are available to match the appearance of the ends to your preferred car.
Sound characteristics
When riding calmly, the system has a rich, full-bodied tone. Dynamic handling brings out a deep, sporty sound, combining everyday comfort with a clearer response to engine load.
The included Control Kit is part of the exhaust configuration. A separate, optional Sound Kit gives you additional audio control options, and Link Pipes and Downpipes allow you to further expand the system.
Parameters by manufacturer
- Power increase: 8 kW at 6000 rpm
- Torque increase: 13,9 Nm at 5000 rpm
- Weight reduction: 8,3 kg (35%).
Setup and Fit
Tips are a required item ordered separately: TP-CT/69, TP-CT/68 or TP-CT/73/CF are available. The system fits versions with and without OPF, including the corresponding xDrive variants; the Slip-On itself in this configuration does not require any change in engine software.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
