Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium Exhaust for BMW M4 (GPF) F82/F83
Construction and materials
The Slip-On is made of lightweight titanium, and the more complex components are made in the Akrapovič foundry. This design allows for a weight reduction of more than 45% compared to the standard system.
Handcrafted carbon fiber tips finish the rear section. Optional carbon diffusers and mirror caps can complement the styling; these are separate accessories, independent of the exhaust design.
Sound characteristics
The system has been tuned to take into account the sound heard both outside and inside the car. The optional Sound Kit P-HF1194 allows additional control of the sound character.
Parameters by manufacturer
- Power increase: 2,5 kW at 5450 rpm
- Torque increase: 4,3 Nm at 3900 rpm
- Weight: 11.59 kg; 9 kg reduction (43.7% according to manufacturer's table).
Configuration and expansion
When you upgrade your Slip-On with the corresponding Evolution Link Pipe, you don't need to purchase a separate Sound Kit P-HF1194: a specially developed control kit is already included in the Evolution tube kit.
The separately offered Evolution Link Pipe E-BM/T/6 is available for upgrades. A carbon diffuser and mirror caps are also available.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
