Akrapovič BMW M8/M8 Competition F91/F92 Evolution Line Titanium
Akrapovič Evolution Line sports exhaust system dedicated to the BMW M8/M8 Competition F91/F92
Construction and materials
The Evolution configuration combines titanium Slip-On S-BM/T/22H with titanium E-BM/T/9 titanium tubes. There are two dampers in the central silencer, and the housings and complex manifolds are made in the Akrapovič foundry.
The Evolution pipes have a die-cast manifold that mixes exhaust gases on both sides of the engine. The solution ensures a smooth flow and contributes to the sound of the complete set. Two pairs of carbon-titanium tips close the system.
Sound characteristics
The combination of Slip-On and Evolution pipes gives a sporty V8 tone with a muscle car-like feel. The sound remains smooth, and the system has been developed to eliminate hum from everyday driving.
The sound is particularly enhancing acceleration and gear changes. Valves allow you to diversify its character, and the optional Sound Kit gives the driver additional control over settings.
Configuration fitment
Evolution E-BM/T/9 tubes are not suitable for cars with OPF filter and S1DFA emission equipment code. The selection of this section requires checking the car variant.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
