Akrapovič BMW X5 M / X5 M Competition (F95) Slip-On Line Titanium

Akrapovič BMW X5 M / X5 M Competition (F95) Slip-On Line Titanium

Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium Exhaust for BMW X5 M / X5 M Competition (F95)

Construction and materials

The Slip-On is made of lightweight, high-quality titanium alloys. The central silencer has two dampers, one on each side, which regulate the flow of exhaust gases. Their housings and manifolds leading from the silencer to the tips are cast in Akrapovič's own foundry.

The end is made up of two pairs of tips that combine carbon fiber with titanium. The design can be completed with an optional carbon diffuser, handcrafted as a separate trim element for the rear of the car.

Sound characteristics

The sound is clearly different from the standard exhaust, especially when accelerating and shifting through gears. The valves on both sides of the muffler contribute to the characteristic Akrapovič color.

Optional Sound Kit allows for additional control over your sound. Further change in flow and sound is provided by the upgrade with the titanium Evolution Link Pipe Set.

Parameters by manufacturer

  • Weight: 12,27 kg; reduction of 8,4 kg.

Fit and Expand

This version of the system does not fit the 2023 upgrade model. The optional Evolution Link Pipes are a separate upgrade stage of the Titanium Slip-On.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.

An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.

Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.

History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.

The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
