Akrapovič BMW X5 M / X6 M (F95/F96 LCI) Evolution Line Titanium
Akrapovič Evolution Line sports exhaust system dedicated to the BMW X5 M / X6 M (F95/F96) LCI after facelift
Construction and materials
The Evolution kit combines a titanium Slip-On section with a titanium Evolution Link Pipe. The Akrapovič foundry manufactures valve housings and manifolds that guide the exhaust gas from the central silencer to the tips. The exhaust is finished with two pairs of elements that combine titanium with carbon fiber.
In the connecting section there is a cast manifold where exhaust gases from both sides of the engine meet. Its shape ensures a smooth flow and works acoustically with the rear of the system. One throttle is located on each side of the muffler.
Sound characteristics
The whole kit gives the V8 engine a powerful, sporty feel close to the sound of a muscle car. The tone remains smooth and free from annoying rumble, which supports comfort during everyday driving.
Particularly pronounced accents appear during acceleration and gear changes. The optional Sound Kit allows you to further control the sound through the throttle.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
