The Akrapovič Slip-On Line MTP-FE488H is a titanium exhaust system for the Ferrari 488 GTB and 488 Spider
Construction and materials
The Slip-On uses very lightweight, high-grade titanium alloys and components cast at the Akrapovič plant. The weight of the system is 35.2% lower than the factory exhaust. Pipes with an increased diameter and a revised configuration reduce back pressure.
The ends have carbon fiber outer sheaths. The system can be combined with optional Link Pipes made of stainless steel, available with or without catalytic converters. The steel pipes are a separate part of the titanium Slip-On extension.
Sound characteristics
The sound emphasizes the specific character of the V8 with a flat crankshaft, combining it with the Akrapovič exhaust color. The effect is particularly pronounced when the optional Link Pipes are included.
The optional Sound Kit allows you to control sound settings. It allows the driver to influence the character of the system without changing its mechanical configuration.
Expansion Options & Accessories
A 200 CPSI sports catalytic converter or a De-cat thru-tube is available as an option. The rear silencers are equipped with valves that allow you to adjust the sound from the on-board computer.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
