Akrapovič Slip-On Line Titanium Exhaust for Lamborghini Huracán
Construction and materials
The Slip-On is made of high-grade titanium alloy. The main tubes have a larger diameter than the factory ones, and there is a special X section inside the muffler to allow the exhaust gas to cross flow. The solution reduces back pressure and supports flow throughout the rev range.
The system uses controllable valves and ends with four carbon fiber tips. The lightweight design limits weight, and the muffler geometry was developed specifically for the Huracán's naturally aspirated V10 engine.
Sound characteristics
At lower revs and when driving calmly, the valves remain closed. The sound is then deeper and sharper, but the tuning reduces unwanted noises in the cabin.
As the rpm increases, the valves open, releasing the V10's intense character. The sound therefore changes from a resolute rumble to a full, sporty tone under heavier loads.
Parameters by manufacturer
- Power increase: 14,3 kW / 19,4 PS at 5950 rpm
- Torque increase: 21,7 Nm at 5950 rpm
- Weight: 13,5 kg; reduction of 20,5 kg (60,3%).

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
