Akrapovič Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 (C118/X118) Slip-On Line Titanium
Akrapovič Slip-On Line sports exhaust system dedicated to Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 (C118/X118) in GPF and non-GPF version
Design and materials
The Slip-On is made of lightweight titanium and finished with two pairs of tips that combine titanium with carbon fiber. The exhaust damper works in a cast housing in Akrapovič's own plant.
A special perforated manifold tube is used on the throttle side. It reduces flow noise without interfering with the distribution of exhaust pressure pulses, resulting in a more powerful and streamlined sound.
Sound characteristics
Compared to the stock exhaust, the sound is richer and has a clearer proportion of high frequencies, especially when shifting gears. At the same time, it maintains fluidity and enhances the natural tones of the engine.
Tuning reduces discomfort and humming in the cabin. Further expansion is made possible by the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set in stainless steel, working in conjunction with the titanium Slip-On section.
Expansion Options & Accessories
Optionally, you can expand the system with a Link pipe to remove the GPF filter.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
