Akrapovič Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 / 45S H247 Evolution Line Titanium
Akrapovič Evolution Line sports exhaust system dedicated to Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 / GLA 45S H247
Design and materials
The main part of the system is made of lightweight, high-grade titanium and is finished with two pairs of titanium and carbon fiber tips. The Evolution kit also includes a matching steel connecting section for L-ME/SS/3.
The throttle has a housing cast in Akrapovič's own plant. Its operation is managed by Control Kit electronics developed by the exhaust manufacturer and working with the AMG Dynamic Select settings.
Sound characteristics
Everyday Riding Mode delivers a smooth tone that emphasizes engine performance, without annoying rumble. Sport settings bring a deeper midrange and richer high frequencies.
Stronger acceleration is accompanied by clearer shifting sounds, and characteristic crackles appear when the throttle is removed. Throttle operation allows you to change the level of sporty clarity.
Expansion Options & Accessories
Optionally, the system can be expanded with a downpipe with catalytic converter and a Sound kit for throttle control.
System Configuration
The exhaust requires a proper Control Kit, selected for the car before the facelift or after changes made in mid-2023. The exhaust section and L-ME/SS/3 are packaged under separate codes.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
