Akrapovič Evolution titanium exhaust for Mercedes C63/S AMG Coupe W205
Design and materials
The Evolution Line is made of specially developed, lightweight titanium alloys. The design incorporates components cast in Akrapovič's own foundry and an active X-pipe. An additional pair of valves are placed behind the rear silencers, expanding the flow and sound control capabilities.
The system is finished with handcrafted matt carbon fiber tips. It replaces both the Mercedes-AMG base exhaust and the Performance version; the weight is more than 45% lower than the standard system.
Sound characteristics
Active X-pipe and additional valves allow for two distinct sound characters and three sound settings while riding. Each mode has been tuned separately to make the change of setting felt in the tone of the system.
The optional P-HF949 Sound Kit allows you to select the sound regardless of the car's drive program. With the factory Performance exhaust, the car's equipment can retain control of the valves from the cabin.
System Configuration
The complete Evolution includes MTP-ME/T/2H/1 and E-ME/T/3 parts, divided into two numbers according to packaging. On a car with an AMG basic exhaust, a P-HF985 actuator kit is required; when replacing a Performance exhaust, this kit is not needed.
This version of the system is not intended for cars with an OPF/GPF filter.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
