Akrapovič Evolution Line sports exhaust system dedicated to Porsche 3.0 Cayenne / E-Hybrid / S E-Hybrid E3.II
Design and materials
The system is made of lightweight, high-grade titanium. The central silencer ends with two pairs of round carbon tips, handmade. These contain acoustic deflectors that enhance the sound perception inside the car.
Dampers on both sides of the muffler control the flow of exhaust gases. Their housings are cast at the Akrapovič plant. A special control kit gives the system a mechatronic character by combining the exhaust design with electronic sound control.
Sound characteristics
The exhaust gases are routed to the muffler without annoying noise and whistling. Damping selected frequency peaks allows you to maintain comfort during a quiet ride, while under heavier loads, the sound becomes clearer and sportier.
Acoustic deflectors enhance the harmonic, full-bodied character of the sound in the cabin. The optional Sound Kit further enhances the tone at lower rpm and expands its characteristics as the rpm increases.
System Configuration
An additional P-HF1621 wiring kit is required on the basic Cayenne V6 versions without Porsche Sport Exhaust.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
