Akrapovič Porsche 4.0 Cayenne S / GTS / Turbo E-Hybrid E3.II Evolution Line Titanium

Akrapovič Porsche 4.0 Cayenne S / GTS / Turbo E-Hybrid E3.II Evolution Line Titanium

Akrapovič Evolution Line sports exhaust system dedicated to the Porsche 4.0 Cayenne S / GTS / Turbo E-Hybrid E3.II

Design and materials

The exhaust is made of high-quality, lightweight titanium and uses a central silencer and two valves to regulate the flow on its sides. Their housings are cast in Akrapovič's own plant.

Two pairs of round tips are handcrafted from carbon fibre. Inside there are acoustic deflectors that direct some of the sound towards the cabin, so that the driver and passengers can hear the nature of the V8 more clearly.

Sound characteristics

When driving steadily, the system delivers a comfortable sound with a pleasant V8 rumble in the background. Dynamic acceleration and a selection of sporty car settings bring out a stronger, more assertive tone.

The optional Sound Kit allows you to further enhance your sound at lower RPMs and extend the experience to a higher range.

Fitment

The system is not suitable for the Cayenne GTS Coupé with optional centre-tail sports exhaust or the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupé with GT package.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.

An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.

Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.

History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.

The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
