Akrapovič Porsche 911 (992) Turbo / Turbo S Slip-On Race Line Titanium

Akrapovič Porsche 911 (992) Turbo / Turbo S Slip-On Race Line Titanium

Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line sports exhaust system dedicated to the Porsche 911 (992) Turbo / Turbo S

Design and materials

The Slip-On Race Line is made of lightweight titanium and complex components cast in the Akrapovič plant. The main tubes are connected by a precisely positioned and welded H-section, calculated for sound shaping.

The system is intended as a replacement for the Porsche Sport Exhaust. A separate set of TP-T/S/34 or TP-T/S/33 titanium tips must be selected for the configuration. The design also fits cars with OPF filters.

Sound characteristics

The sound becomes deeper as soon as the engine starts. At low revs, the rumble of a six-cylinder boxer dominates, followed by a strong midrange, and at high revs, a rich and intense tone with high frequencies.

Tuning emphasizes upshifts and racing noises when downshifting. The H-section helps achieve this sound waveform, and the system eliminates hum and unwanted flow noise while maintaining acoustic comfort.

Configuration selection

Cars with a basic, non-sports exhaust require a separate verification of the mounting configuration. A set of tips must be ordered as a required system component.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.

An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.

Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.

History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.

The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
