Akrapovič Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) Slip On Race + Evolution Header Set Titanium

Akrapovič Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) Slip On Race + Evolution Header Set Titanium

Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line Titanium Exhaust with Evolution Header Set Manifolds for Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992)

Design and materials

The kit combines a titanium Slip-On Race Line with titanium Evolution Header Set manifolds. The components are sandblasted and protected with a coating for added durability. The two tips have a coated outer cover, an engraved logo and six embossing of the inner part, reminiscent of a six-cylinder engine.

The valve housings and manifolds inside the muffler are manufactured in Akrapovič's own foundry. The Evolution manifolds use special cross-pipe connections, also cast in titanium. This duct arrangement is derived from racing designs and has been developed for proper exhaust gas guidance and cooperation with Slip-On in the mid-rpm range.

Sound characteristics

Valves and flow geometry provide a smooth, full-bodied tone with a smooth ride. As the rpm increases, the sound becomes sportier and more expressive.

The catalytic converters in the manifolds work with tuned quarter-wave resonators. They reduce distortion and unwanted frequencies so that the whole set retains a clear sound even when the engine is running harder.

Check the exhaust sound

The manufacturer's recordings are taken from the E-PO/T/9 manifold card. Akrapovič refers to the car used in the samples as the Porsche GT3 (992); the samples are for reference to the GT3 RS kit offered.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.

An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.

Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.

History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.

The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
