Akrapovič Porsche Panamera 4.0 V8 GTS / Turbo / Turbo S E-Hybrid G2/971 Evolution Line Titanium
Akrapovič Evolution Line sports exhaust system dedicated to Porsche Panamera 4.0 V8 GTS / Turbo / Turbo S E-Hybrid G2/971
Design and materials
The Evolution Line is made entirely of high-grade titanium and is equipped with Akrapovič plant cast components. The design includes an active X-pipe and an additional pair of valves behind the rear silencers.
The system reduces weight by 40% compared to the standard solution. The end consists of four round tips, available in titanium or carbon versions. The flow is designed to reduce back pressure.
Sound characteristics
The sound combines the deep, sporty tone of the V8 with clearer high frequencies. Despite its strong character, it retains fluidity, and the tuning eliminates annoying hum.
The optional Sound Kit allows you to choose a louder, racing tone or a quieter setting for long journeys regardless of the car's driving program. An active X-pipe and valves allow you to differentiate this experience.
Adjustment and control
On cars with a basic, non-sporty Porsche exhaust, the Middle Valve Actuator Kit P-HF1170 is required. The system does not fit the extended Executive versions.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.
An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.
Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.
History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.
The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
