Akrapovič Toyota GR Yaris Slip-On Race Line Titanium

Akrapovič Toyota GR Yaris Slip-On Race Line Titanium

Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line Titanium Sports Exhaust Dedicated to Toyota GR Yaris

Design and materials

The entire system is made of high-grade titanium. Between the rear resonators is a collector cast in Akrapovič's own plant that equalizes and organizes the exhaust gas flow. Three resonators — two behind the manifold and one in the center tube — are an integral part of the acoustic tuning.

Two 110 mm titanium tips are megaphone-shaped and welded to the system. Their profile affects the sound, and a special coating reduces color change when exposed to high temperatures. The design is designed to reduce back pressure.

Sound characteristics

The sound is deep and distinctly sporty, but the manifold and resonators reduce hum and excessive noise that accompanies driving. Particular attention has been paid to the mid and high rev range.

In the upper range, the high frequencies are more pronounced. Clearer sound also appears at idle and at the valves, emphasising the character of the GR Yaris's engine.

Expansion Options & Accessories

The exhaust can be expanded with a front Evolution Line that removes the GPF filter.

System upgrades

An optional Evolution Link Pipe section allows you to expand the Slip-On Race and expand the possibilities of further tuning of the exhaust system.

Akrapovič creates performance exhaust systems that combine lightweight construction with carefully developed sound. Depending on the application, the brand uses titanium, stainless steel and carbon-fibre components.

An in-house titanium foundry and materials laboratory support control over key stages of exhaust production. Akrapovic is an option for sports car owners who value component weight, craftsmanship and distinctive tailpipe detailing.

Akrapovič quality control includes alloy composition, mechanical properties and weld analysis. Prototype measurements use optical scanning and coordinate measuring equipment. Sound development combines road testing, dynamometer work, flow measurements and acoustic simulations.

History and development. Akrapovič was founded in 1991, with its development rooted in motorcycle racing. Milestones included entering MotoGP in 2002, opening its own titanium foundry in 2009 and adding a second factory in 2014.

The business today. The company now manufactures motorcycle and performance-car exhausts in Slovenia for aftermarket customers and OEM partners. Racing-team support remains part of its operations. Its laboratories, foundry and manufacturing facilities enable materials research and acoustic development to take place within the business rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
