Brabus Mercedes-Benz AMG GT (C190) Cat-back

Brabus offers performance exhaust systems as part of its premium vehicle personalisation programmes. Valve-controlled systems are a signature solution, allowing the driver to change the car’s sound character.
The range includes titanium exhausts and Inconel constructions for selected applications. Exhaust choice should be coordinated with the rear diffuser and tailpipes, as some Brabus configurations are designed to work as a complete assembly.
In selected Brabus projects, the driver can choose between a discreet Coming Home setting and an open, sport-focused valve position. G-Class applications are distinguished by side-exit tailpipes ahead of the rear wheels. Other models use different tailpipe layouts, including titanium and carbon-fibre combinations matched to the rear bodywork.
History and development. Bodo Buschmann and Klaus Brackmann founded Brabus in 1977; the name combines parts of their surnames. Early Mercedes-Benz individualisation developed into comprehensively rebuilt vehicles and dedicated special projects.
The business today. The business remains family-owned and is led in its second generation by Constantin Buschmann. Its activities now extend beyond automotive tuning to boats, motorcycles and lifestyle products. Performance exhausts form part of a wider luxury-refinement programme combining drivetrain modifications, bodywork and handcrafted interiors.
