Capristo Porsche 992.2 Carrera GTS Cat-back

Exhaust Capristo Porsche 992.2 Carrera GTS Cat-back

Capristo Porsche 911 992.2 GTS – sport exhaust system / downpipe / sport catalytic converters

Depending on the configuration, sport downpipes with 250 cpsi or 100 cpsi sport catalytic converters are available, as well as a rear muffler replacement pipe with an electrically controlled valve. The Straight Pipe version provides more direct exhaust flow, lower weight and a significantly more exciting sound.

The components are made of heat-resistant 1.4828 stainless steel, used in high-end exhaust systems. The construction is TIG-welded, hand-finished and polished to a high gloss. This combines durability, temperature resistance and an attractive finish visible even before installation.

Versions with sport catalytic converters may feature an OPF particulate filter replacement solution designed to reduce the risk of fault codes after exhaust modification. The sportier 100 cpsi configuration may require engine ECU software modification.

Capristo manufactures performance exhaust systems in Sundern, Germany, using T309 stainless steel. Hand welding and polishing are distinctive parts of its production process.

The brand has roots in Ferrari applications and develops products for sports and luxury cars. Capristo exhausts combine high-temperature resistance with detailed finishing, making them an option for a carefully personalised vehicle.

Capristo uses mandrel-bent tubing to preserve the pipe shape through curved sections. The company operates its own development and testing facilities and holds international patents for its designs. Carbon-fibre components complement the exhaust range, linking sound upgrades with exterior detailing.

History and development. Capristo began in 1990 supplying parts for Ferrari and Maserati. In 2002, Antonio Capristo decided to manufacture sports exhausts in-house, and carbon-fibre component production became another business area from 2013.

The business today. The current range combines exhaust systems with carbon-fibre parts for sports and luxury cars from multiple manufacturers. Sundern remains associated with product development and manufacturing, while the products are sold internationally. Exhausts therefore form part of a broader modification portfolio rather than the company’s only area of activity.
