GPF filter delete component by Supersprint designed for BMW M2 G87.
The special "J-Pipe" design ensures optimal exhaust flow and a sporty sound.
Additionally, an H-pipe section removes the factory center muffler.
Supersprint has developed performance exhaust systems since 1955. The brand engineers individual vehicle applications rather than relying on lightly modified universal components throughout its range.
Testing on an all-wheel-drive MAHA dynamometer forms an important part of development. Supersprint exhausts combine a measurement-led approach with construction and sound characteristics tailored to the particular engine.
Supersprint starts development by measuring the stock vehicle’s power and torque. The team also assesses sound inside and outside the car, both at idle and under load. Prototype dimensions are then chosen around the available underbody space, engine characteristics and the appropriate tailpipe shape.
History and development. Supersprint’s history began in 1955 when Giuseppe Gilli acquired a specialist exhaust workshop. The business developed around Mantua, with the German market playing an important role in its growth. Preserving older production jigs helped it retain applications for historic vehicles.
The business today. Supersprint now manufactures in Italy for classics, youngtimers and modern performance cars. Its catalogue covers historic BMW and Porsche models alongside current platforms such as the BMW M5 G90, combining continued support for older applications with new product development.
