Intake system carbon Corsa Performance Chevrolet Corvette C8

Corsa Performance is distinguished by Reflective Sound Cancellation technology, developed to counter unwanted cabin drone. Carefully designed silencer geometry reflects sound waves to cancel selected low frequencies.
The brand develops cat-back systems, axle-back systems and other exhaust components, tuning their acoustics for each application. Corsa exhausts suit drivers seeking a pronounced soundtrack under acceleration while retaining a focus on cruising comfort.
Corsa introduced RSC technology in 1998 with an exhaust for the C5 Corvette. Subsequent applications are developed around the factory design and the interaction between all exhaust sections. The acoustic solution is selected individually, so two systems carrying the RSC name need not share the same internal construction.
History and development. Corsa’s origins date to 1988 and silencers for high-performance boats, developed in Berea, Ohio. Its marine-acoustics experience subsequently moved into automotive applications: RSC technology debuted on the Corvette C5 Indianapolis 500 pace car in 1998.
The business today. Corsa Performance is now part of TMG Performance Products’ brand portfolio. The business continues engineering and manufacturing in Berea, with intakes, filters and other components complementing exhausts. Automotive activities sit alongside the marine business, with products distributed through an international network of dealers and specialist retailers.
